John Wick didn’t have a lot to say as he spoke countable words throughout the film. According to The Wall Street Journal, they counted the words being uttered by wick in Chapter 4.

The 4th sequel of John Wick is 160 minutes in total and Wick utters only 380 words in the movie.

In the movie directed by Chad Stahelski: every third dialogue of Reeves was just one word “Yeah”.

The first movie was 101 minutes where Mr, Wick spoke 484 words, as per WSJ reports. In the chapter 4 Mr. Reeves is heard uttering only 380 words in the runtime of 169 minutes.

To make Mr. Wick looks chatty, 10% of his dialogues has been shown in the official trailer of 2.5 minutes. In fact he says a lot more in these 2.5 minutes than in the first 25 minutes of the movie.

Director revealed that Reeves stripped out almost half of the dialogues written for the character of Wick. That's why John Wick doesn’t have a lot to say in the movie.

The longest line of Mr. Reeves in the movie is “You and I left a good life behind a long time ago, my friend.” with his co-star Hiroyuki Sanada as Shimazu Koji.
